Actor-turned-singer seems to be new trend at
box-office. It was just yesterday when industry’s young actress Alia Bhatt
sizzled Bollywood with her ‘Samjhwana Unplugged’ and today, we are having a
senior actress turning to that line.
Tabu, a notable actress for her artistic acting is going to make her debut in singing by lending her voice in her upcoming film, ‘Haider.’ She as part of her act earlier hummed the song ‘Roshe Valle’. However, if sources are to be believed, Vishal Bhardwaj, producer-director-composer of the film, was thoroughly impressed by her notes that he forced her to turn towards singing.
The film ‘Haider’ is yet another re-make of the classic tragedy ‘Hamlet’ by Shakespeare. The film will see Irrfan Khan with Kay Kay Menon, Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor. Given to their earlier performances in Maqbool, we hope that the Jodi of Tabu and Irrfan is able to re-create the magic, once more. However, knowing their skill as actors, we are sure to have some cult performances. In addition, we also look out for some fiery performance from this ‘Maachis’ girl as singer.
The film is set to release on 2nd October,
2014.
