After Queen Kangana Ranaut now wows In ‘Revolver Rani’

After winning hearts as Rani in ‘Queen’, Kangana Ranaut will now be seen playing a feisty gun-toting politico in Sai Kabir’s ‘Revolver Rani’, which hits theatre screens today and it is quite evident that the Queen Bee is about to rule the roost yet again.

Madhureeta Mukherjee says in the Times Of India review, “Kangana is pure dynamite, firing on all barrels. With a tanned tone, kohl eyes and mercurial moods - she uses every weapon to fire a mind-blowing performance.”

Mohar Basu from Koi-Moi states, “It won’t be an erroneous statement to make if you call this an entirely hail, Kangana product and quite justifiably so. There is swagger in her dialogue delivery, confidence in her demeanor and most effortlessly she is sinful, brutal and absolute rogue. Playing all these with such a versatile quality exposing many unseen shades of a character that risked on being deemed caricaturish, she was un-apologetically reveling in a role she had bitten quite rightly into.”

Shubha Shetty Saha from Mid-day says, “The best thing about this film is of course, Kangna. The capable actress portrays this offbeat role of a violent, passionate but vulnerable dacoit with commendable ease.”

NDTV says, “Kangana, fresh from a Queen-size box office triumph, embraces this Rani with all the power that she can muster. The result is a high-on-adrenaline heroine who thrives on overdrive, the kind that went out of vogue with Fearless Nadia and Hunterwali.

“Kangana Ranaut proves that she is not the ‘Queen’ but 'super-queen' of Bollywood with her superlative act. Her contemporaries can very well take a lesson or two from her in acting.” says India Today.

Says Kangana Ranaut,  "It is amazing for any actor to know that their body of  work is being appreciated and acknowledged - Its great news and very encouraging "
